Yoga & Meditation for Boosting Immunity

Daily practise of Yoga & meditation for few minutes is widely recognised as one of the best immunity boosting techniques world over. This is like health insurance. Anyone who does yoga or meditation or both daily for some time keeps all kinds of infections at bay by increasing his or her immunity to great extent. Our breathing patterns, because of the poor lifestyle that many of us lead nowadays, have become more or less impaired. Many diseases, both serious and less so, can be traced to poor breathing habits. Shallow breathing, which is how most of us breathe, results in only a small percentage of the millions of air sacs which make up the lungs being used to absorb oxygen and expel carbon dioxide and other waste products. This leads to an imperfect and superficial ventilation of the lungs, with depleted air remaining in the lungs hour after hour and even day after day. Even with thirty breaths a minute, the greater part of the lungs remains unused; there is too much movement and too little real breathing. Such a state of affairs needs correction. Basic of yoga & Meditation should be known to one who wants to begin for which we have given few links for further guidance.
